Originally created for the cancelled 2021 Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, this special white livery was raced at the Turkish Grand Prix as a tribute to Honda and its Japanese fans.

Inspired by the Honda RA272, which delivered Honda's first Formula 1 victory in 1965, the design combines a predominantly white finish with red, Japanese-inspired details and the “ありがとう” (Arigato / Thank You) message.

Max Verstappen drove the No.33 RB16B to second place at the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix.
